I have owned boats for well over 20 years. In all those years, I had never encountered truly exceptional service from a marina until I bought my 2000 Glastron SX 175 from MacCallums Boathouse. The sales process was easy and stress free and the on-water demo and instruction really helped me to feel comfortable with my new boat. The real key to my satisfaction with MacCallums is in the really high level of customer service and the attention to detail. While there have only been a few mechanical issues with my boat, when they occur the response is amazing. I am always told to bring it right in and they address the problem immediately. I recall one instance when the bolts that secure the starter to the engine broke. Charlie asked me to bring the boat in and he looked at it as soon as I got there and informed me that the bolts were broken and that they may have to pull the motor and that they would get to it right away. That was at noon on a Saturday. Charlie called me the first thing Sunday morning and let me know that I could pick up my boat. It was done. Your technician was able to lay on his back in the bilge under the motor and drill out the old bolts, retap the holes and reinstall the starter. That is truly impressive service and all in less than 24 hours on a weekend. We all know that the summer is short in New Hampshire and losing your bought to repairs is a bummer. I intend to continue to receive all my boating needs from MacCallums as long as I live in New Hampshire. I have worked in a service industry, health care, for more than 30 years and service at this level is rare. Thank you.
